“As a key member of the executive team, Paulette is responsible for managing EverCare’s legal activities and regulatory policies, assisting us in defining growth strategies, and supporting the implementation of those strategies,” said EverCare President and CEO Sylvia McTigue. “She is also responsible for managing corporate restructure needs, developing relevant business relationships, and contributing to the continuing education of EverCare’s staff”.

Ms. Wunsch has been a frequent presenter at conferences and seminars, speaking on topics including health care reform, managed care, Medicaid/Medicare, corporate compliance, and business ethics. She led a team that received the Health Ethics Trust Award for its Code of Conduct and the Best of Blue Award for innovation in compliance and ethics training.

“I look to Paulette to continuously work on EverCare’s culture of compliance and organizational improvement so that EverCare is recognized as one of the most ethical companies to work for,” said McTigue. “Her background creates the perfect platform to provide counsel to the executive team so that collectively, we can have the greatest impact on population health and the health of those we serve, now and into the future.”

Prior to coming in-house, Ms. Wunsch practiced in the law firm of Day, Berry & Howard (now known as Day Pitney). Early in her career, she held prosecutorial positions in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, the United States Department of Justice, and the United States Attorney’s Office in Manhattan. She has also been an associate professor at Fordham University, and served on the Board of Directors of Family ReEntry. She earned degrees from Columbia Law School, the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and the University of Chicago.
