Janet O’Connor is a seasoned health care executive whose 30-plus year career has been with the not-for-profit, government-sponsored insurance organizations across several plans; PACE, Long Term Care Services (LTSS), and Special Needs Plans (SNP). Her enthusiasm and energy, along with her clear and focused direction, has been instrumental in company startups and development of successful business relationships.
Janet serves as vice president of managed care for EverCare, where she leads the Care Management, Quality, and Assessment areas of the Managed Long Term Care Plan. Prior to joining EverCare, Janet held a position at Archcare as senior director of quality and education for their MLTC, PACE, and ISNP Plan. Prior to Archcare, she was at Senior Health Partners, a Health First company as vice president of clinical excellence. She was instrumental in the startup and growth of the LTSS plan, growing membership from 45 to 8000 members. Janet and her team worked closely with the clinical, medical, quality, and provider areas of the organization, bridging health and health outcomes through a person-centered care coordination model, improving quality of life with affordability.
Janet graduated from George Washington University, receiving both her bachelor’s and Masters of Education, Program Planning, and Development. She is a Registered Nurse, Six Sigma trained, and has participated as a panelist and guest speaker for the Leading Age, National PACE Association, NYS Home Care Association, and Health First of NJ. She currently resides in Dutchess County.
